At photo distance (guests standing 4+ feet away), a well-made silk flower wall is visually indistinguishable from fresh. Fresh walls cost 40–60% more, wilt visibly over a 6-hour reception, and require refrigerated transport that adds logistical complexity for the florist.

What Size Should the Wall Be?

Standard is 8 feet wide by 8 feet tall.That's the right size to fit a couple, a bridal party of 6, or a wedding entourage of 8 without cropping heads or feet.

Smaller walls (6×6 or 5×7) work for baby showers, small engagement parties, or intimate ceremonies. Larger walls (10×8 or 12×8) work for weddings with 250+ guests where the wall doubles as a step-and-repeat photo destination — but they require more setup space and delivery logistics. Custom sizes need three weeks lead time.

Where Should the Wall Live at Your Reception?

The best placements, in order:

• Behind the head table — every reception photo has it in frame
• Next to the photo booth — creates a “photo corner” guests gravitate to all night
• Behind the sweetheart table — frames the couple during dinner
• Beside the entrance — a step-and-repeat moment as guests arrive

Avoid: placing the wall behind the DJ (blocks sound and guests don't approach it), or in a hallway (out of sight, out of mind).

Add-Ons Worth Considering

• Custom neon signage — your names, wedding hashtag, or a phrase like “Better Together” laser-cut and neon-lit. $200 add-on, 3 week lead time.
• Warm fairy lights — woven through the wall for evening receptions. $75.
• Laser-cut acrylic monogram — a two-letter monogram in your palette. $150.

Delivery, Setup, and Timing

Standard delivery timing for a Saskatoon reception:

• Delivery: 60–90 minutes before doors
• Setup: 30–45 minutes for a standard 8×8 wall
• Takedown: 15 minutes at end of night
• Free within 50 km of Saskatoon; travel quoted upfront beyond

If your venue has a tight turnaround (e.g., an earlier event ends 2 hours before yours), we coordinate directly with the venue coordinator to ensure setup fits the window.
